Zinch, Negla, and Elevator Consoles

Richard Millan

After the year 1999, all digital electronics decided not to work for us anymore. The world has changed dramatically since then and it has now made us confident in starting a new world to discover new technologies.

Many essential things have changed since 1999. Things from the 21st century like planes, automobiles, computers, TV's, CD players, VCR's and phones have changed, making our life a whole lot different than it used to be. We have begun to develop new technologies. In the last nine years, we have made old technologies into something more powerful than ever before.

We have discovered that essentials we needed in the past are now powered by contaminated carbonated liquid fuel called Zinch (regular carbonated water mixed with baking soda, vinegar and cooking oil) which lasts for exactly one year without anybody having to worry about refueling all the time. Once one year is up, however, the liquid will not work anymore. Zinch is costly, though; the price ranges from a hundred to two hundred dollars for a litre of the fuel. Zinch is used for automobiles and planes which now, I should mention, go faster than the old automobiles and planes did in the 21st century. That is because Zinch is a much more powerful and explosive fuel than gasoline and diesel used to be.

Zinch is also used in phones, computers, and other technologies. A Zinch computer chip is programmed to tell the phone, TV, music player or computer that it is ok to work. These computer chips are not very cheap either. The price ranges from five hundred to eight hundred dollars each.

But not all essentials still look the same as they did in the 21st century. Cell phones now look more like a miniature digital computers that show who you are talking to on a small monitor. TV's and music players are also controlled by the Zinch Chip which is installed in walls located in stores or at home. TV cables are now connected to live satellite feeds from all over the world, and you can pick up any channel from anywhere. Movies and music are already programmed into the TV so you can enjoy both old or brand new movies or music broadcast by satellite, which picks up feeds from all over the planet and outer space.

Phones and TV's can be programmed together right on the TV screen. You can have the choice of watching them on the regular screen or have the TV beam a Holographic Object in front of you, making it seem as if you are talking to characters face-to-face. This often makes us forget we are not talking to them in person.

Another way we communicate is by electric impulses to our brains. Once the year 2000 arrived, the whole world was ordered to go into solitary confinement and undergo surgical operations for a period of 5 months. Scientists implanted a computer chip in our brains called Negla. Negla is a pager system which allows people to call you and tell you to take their message.

The way we cook food and get electricity now is from the sun with the use of solar panels. Solar panels are efficient for everyone; it is essential to have a solar panel on every house because if you don't, you will not be able to survive, period! Solar panels help keep the water clean and provide electricity to every household.

Transportation has also changed since the 21st century. Regular bicycles, trains, planes, scooters and skateboards are no more. They have all been replaced with old elevator consoles that are programmed to take you anywhere in the world. A list of codes is used to take you to some particular place--simply punch in the code once you are in the elevator console. Press "enter" and the elevator door will open, sending you where you want to go.

As I have mentioned, there are many things that have changed since the end of the 21st century, and there are still more to come. It makes me wonder how much longer we will be able to survive in the new decade and future century, and how many more things will be changing for us by the year 3000. Some of us will never know, but for the future society it is all up to them to discover and create new things to survive in the next century.
