Will the Future be Human?
Jean-Claude Laurin
The future has never looked so grim now with his new technology called Magnetic Resonance Imaging. The MRI is an imaging technique primarily used to view the human anatomy and produce high quality images of the interior of the human body. MRI does this by using magnetic patterns created by water molecules found in our bodies. The MRI process is harmless to people.

One of the most important uses of MRI is to look for tumours and to view the body before doctors perform operations. The MRI is also being used for studying the anatomy of the human body and the human brain. The brain research with MRI is a technological breakthrough because MRI allows researchers to watch what part of the brain is being stimulated during a specific thought stimulus.
In time, I see MRI technology becoming even more useful to the world and the technology becoming even more important. In the future I see MRI machines made small enough to fit into a doctor's office so they can scan people for tumours during their annual checkups. Even further into the future, I see MRI technology made small enough to hold in a person's hand, and when it will not be necessary to contain the whole body of the person to get a picture.
The future will be greatly affected by MRI because of the brain research that will play a part in creating a super-human with altered genes who will be smarter, faster, and stronger. MRI research done on the brain will enable scientists to determine how to improve human intelligence. This can be accomplished by knowing where things are in the brain and how they work together. There's no telling what the future holds when it comes to human intelligence when it is assisted by technologies like magnetic resonance imaging.
