SPIRIT FEATHERS

I feel his presence over me, then I hear the echo of his cry. I look up to see him in all his majestic beauty.
With his wings spread a far, he soars through the sky with confidence and grace.
I feel as though it is a gift from our Creator, that he has sent this eagle to watch over Me.
In my soul, I feel rejuvenation, a spiritual experience. I am reminded who I am and where I come from. I am a part of the Eagle clan--this is what I have been told.

A few years ago I was found by my biological family. I was a lost bird. I had no place to call home and I had no knowledge of my true identity. They told me that I was a part of a rich culture.
Now I have an identity. I know who I am and where I come from. I am reminded each time I see the eagle soar.
