The Way I
Am
A change in life,
loved ones think otherwise.
Told to love myself first,
that's to be conceited.
Love is love,
I can't explain what love is, there are no words.
Great person,
that's me; conceited not to be.
Not to let depression take over,
when I'm feeling ugly.
No one cares,
no one cares enough to care deeply.
To be in a deep relationship,
is like I'm alone but not alone.
Quiet? Not quiet at all,
just happy to observe others.
In thought always,
I think too much, at times bad.
Born a brunette,
should have been a blonde.
I'm here aren't I? Obviously,
no where to go and don't want to go.
I've always been told that I'm weird,
well I think they're the weird ones.
I am who I am,
that's the way I am.
