"MCARS" The
Malaspina College Amateur Radio Society is a registered non profit society.
MCARS meets at 7:30 pm on the first Thursday of each month at the White
Spot restaurant in Nanaimo.
VE7RME repeater
is located in Nanaimo. It operates on a transmit frequency
of 146.98 mhz and a receive frequency of 146.38 mhz. The equipment consists
of a Motorola repeater, duplexers and Sinclair model C-4 antenna. The antenna
is 1100 FT. above sea level. Output power is approximately 30 Watts Erp.

AUTOPATCH The
Autopatch system consists of a remote link to VE7MCU which is connected
to a Connect Systems telephone interconnect and is available to members
of MCARS.
MEETINGS On
the air meetings are held each Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm, on the club
repeater.
