HEMINGWAY'S
PARIS:
An On-line Companion

The Paris of the 1920's which Ernest Hemingway encountered was a wonderful but strange world for the American Midwestern apprentice writer; it is even more foreign to today's students. This on-line, hypertext seminar has been developed in response to requests from first-year university English students studying Hemingway's A Moveable Feast for the first time. I've tried to find or write introductory material about painters, writers, and the social circle in which Hemingway operated and which provides his memoirs in A Moveable Feast, published posthumously in 1964.
