Set all of the Margins to 0.10 by selecting the numbers with the text pointer and typing in the new numbers using the keyboard.
Use the mouse pointer to turn off all of the Header and Footer options (remove the X from all of the boxes). Click OK when the options are set correctly.
The following is an example of how the Netscape Page Setup window should look:
- Next, press the Print button at the top of your web browser. Your printer should be set to letter size paper and the page orientation to portrait.
- Set the Print Range to All. You can also print multiple copies of the application form by increasing the number in the Copies box. Click OK to print the application form.
What if the application form doesn't print properly?
- Check your printer settings. The Setup/Properties button in the print window allows you to set the paper size and orientation.
- You can also preview the application form before you print by choosing Print Preview from the File menu. This allows you to view the page layout before it is printed.
- The sentence PAGE 1 OF 2 (PAGE 2 MUST ACCOMPANY PAGE 1) should appear at the bottom of Page 1. If part of page 1 is printed on page 2 of the application form, follow these steps to reduce the text size on the application form:
- Click on the Options menu from the top selection bar of the web browser and select the General Preferences... option.
- Choose Fonts from the preferences listed and click on the Choose Font... button next to Use the Proportional Font.
- Next, reduce the size of the font. For example, if the the current font size is 12, use the scrollbars under the Size box to find the number 11. Click on the number to change the font size in the Size box. Click OK when the options are set correctly. Click OK again in the Preferences window to return to the browser. The browser will redraw the application form using the smaller font size. The following is an example of how the Netscape Font Setup window should look:
- Use the Print Preview to view the application form. If the sentence PAGE 1 OF 2 (PAGE 2 MUST ACCOMPANY PAGE 1) appears at the bottom of page 1, click the Print... button at the top of the preview window to print the application form.
- Press the Back button in the browser window to return to this page when the application form is printed.
